Sonny in her (apparent) favorite sleeping spot. She does it often enough that I shouldn't be surprised to find her there, but I always am. Even more surprising when I find Angel there.

Angel, just seconds before he decided it was time to go back "home" (cage, ooh, safety!). He's only patient for brief moments, which, for a bird probably feels like forever.

Sonny does this kind of thing a lot but by the time I get the camera out she hustles over to the other side of the cage. This time, I got her! Woo hoo! (of course, they're pretending to be statues in this shot...once they see I'm right there, they freeze...good opportunity for me though, hehe)

I know from this angle the cage looks full, but they have plenty of room to move around (and hop, flap, & flutter) inside.

A hot and hazy day along the shore. We couldn't get too close to these beauties, but it was great to see them there. Quite the surprise. How birds get "clean" in such dirty water though is a mystery to me.

Funny to get both birds during some part of a blink. This is their favorite spot in the cage. Maybe they keep thinking I can't reach them there, hehe, but silly them, of course I can :)

When there aren't squirrels messing up my feeders, sometimes there are birds! Yay! Love it when the woodpeckers come this close to the window. I know this isn't the greatest shot, it's taken through two panes of dirty glass and anytime I try to take a shot from a semi-clean spot, they see the camera and take off. Ah well, I'm glad they're back and glad I was there to see.

Oh yea....can you see the cute face in the tree? :)

Angel in the window (yep, again). I love how you can see some light blue reflecting off his feathers. Don't believe 'national chain' pet stores that label animals as "lutino" or "albino." My two keets are neither though they were supposed to be. I don't care either way. I just liked their color.

Angel in the window. He's got a little blue dot on his head from one of his toys (one of those colored wicker balls and rings they make for birds). Both birds love chewin' the heck out of those.

Sonny's very skittish, and sometimes takes off when I try and get her to perch. In this instance, she landed in a good spot, and stayed there long enough for me to catch a shot of it. :)
