About as close as I can get I think... this lorry was on my shoulder...what a sharp beak!

Two bare eye cockatoos. There was a sign on their cage that warned not to feed them because they bite. They didn't bite me, but they sure tried to grab my finger with those claws.

A Major Mitchell's cockatoo.... gorgeous color...the two here (only one pictured) were rather wary of people...

A pink cockatoo (I'm guessing...)...I remember most of these were very friendly...(and very loud!)..this one almost seems to be smiling...

I wanted to take all of these (caged) birds home...some of them were so friendly...

A strange mix of color here...not sure what kind of bird this is but it was in the warmer exotics section of the Parrot Refuge.. it was pretty dim in there...(flash, sorry birdies...)

The older gulls were much more wary of me than the youngin' was..still...this one finally took the bait..and I was rewarded a 2 second window to snap a shot..
