A pretty moluccan cockatoo... I wonder why having a "chalky" looking beak means they're "healthy" (or rather, why a shiny beak means they're not)

Look at the gorgeous macaw! This is a (cropped) websnap from The Mac Cam. I visit the site daily. Sometimes there's a great shot like this one. Sometimes you can only see Mac's tail feathers (from a high perch out of the camera frame). Once in a while, you can see a great full frontal view like this. Hi birdie!

My birds had a little adventure on their play gym recently. They seemed to enjoy it. (I sure did)

A bit of a closeup... usually their "faces" are a little messy from the veggies....but this is a moment of cleanliness. Occasional light spritzing with water helps induce some cleaning/preening... sometimes.
